Great article! I really like this as a practical way into looking at art. The idea of 'finding the door' rather than feeling like you’re supposed to understand everything immediately is a lot more approachable. And the 30-second method is genuinely something I’d want to try next time I’m in a gallery!

Yes, me too. I definitely care for some abstracts much more than others. I'd be interested to compare my thoughts to those of a more trained eye
